The Standard restaurant in Copenhagen

The design of The Standard restaurant in Copenhagen was done by GamFratesi. They did a very nice job and also included some of their own designs in the interior like the Beetle Chair they did for Gubi. I think the materials and shapes are combined to perfection and different areas are created by using different types of furniture. The blue chairs with the old glass lamps  form a nice contrast against the grey areas with the Copper Orient lamps.

I love how they integrated greenery in the restaurant. So rare to see, even these days when greenery is one of the major trends. Thank you for sharing this 🙂 xxi.

You are right, now that I think of it, there is never much green in restaurants these days ! I’m happy this inspired you, it did the same to me 😉
