That’s what you get with timeless design isn’t it, the pieces will look good throughout the years. This is a very important aspect that I think about when buying furniture myself, because I don’t want to be buying new things every year.

Dit zijn foto’s getrokken door Mikko Ryhanen voor de herfst-winter campagne van Artek twee jaar geleden in het Artek huis. Ze zijn niet echt nieuw meer, maar ik vind ze nog altijd heel erg mooi. Dat heb je dan met tijdloos design toch, de stukken zullen er binnen tien jaar nog altijd mooi uitzien. Voor mij is dat ook een belangrijk aspect wanneer ik zelf meubelen koop. Wanneer je tijdloos design koopt, moet je niet ieder jaar opnieuw je hele huis vernieuwen.
