A few weeks ago I had the honour to join the #limblogdesigntour in Limburg, Belgium, where I went to visit the Design highlights of Limburg. We visited a lot of places, each one as exciting as the next. One of my favorite visits on the tour was the showroom of studio Kuppers Wuytens who designed a large range of beautiful leather goods, but also furniture and the entire interior of restaurant Magis.

Their showroom is temporarily located on the domain Bokrijk, which I’m sure every Belgian knows and visited as a child. The domain is about the undergo a major renovation by architect Bart Lens and in the new BKRK new designs will be produced and sold with traditional techniques. We had the chance to sew our own BKRK coin-purse, which was designed by Kuppers and Wuytens themselves. I’m using it for my business cards now and I’m looking forward to seeing the leather change it’s natural color over time.
