These are some snapshots of the home of Estelle Nordenfalk’s home, which was published in Residence Magazine. I would love to see the entire home in the issue, but the details look so promising already. I love the eclectic mix of objects in a muted down grey environment.

White and warm tints

I like this home with lots of light and warm tones. The kitchen is all white, except for the table top, which matches the wood of the wing doors guiding to the living room. I like the dark bedroom as well and the dark wood wall behind the workspace has so much character, especially contrasting against the light wooden floor. I think this is just such an inviting place.

Marble kitchen and artwork

I love the clean lines of the white marble kitchen combined with the artwork in this home. It’s such a nice contrast. The lather sofa matches this look perfectly and I like the blue touches that come back in the pillows and accessories, matching the paintings.

Bar cart and pendant lamp from Westwing Now

We got a new bar chart and pendant lamp in the kitchen, which really brings everything together I think. Both items are from Westwing Now. You might know Westwing from their weekly campaigns, which is a good place to keep on eye on. Next to the weekly flash sales however, there is Westwing now, where the items are not time-sensitive. They offer a wide range of furniture and accessories from different brands and styles, which is great if you like to mix an match.

The Normann Copenhagen Block cart was on my wish-list for the last years and I’m so happy to finally have it in our home. I’m not sure yet if I will keep using it in the kitchen and maybe add some spices to it, or if I will move it into the living room and use it as a bar only. For now it looks so nice in our kitchen though. The pendant lamp is the classic Gubi Semi and I love how the clean and curvy lines contrast against the white built in closet in the background.

I think this is just such an amazing home. Obviously I really like all the furniture and carefully chosen accessories, but what I find very special about this space is the use of black paint to give some extra dimension to the home. The living room is painted black (or very dark grey, not sure) only on two walls, which makes it very interesting. The small closet in the bedroom is painted black as well, which gives it a little bit of a cave effect actually, especially with the white vest hanging there.

Beautiful black kitchen

I like this beautiful black kitchen with concrete flooring. The entire wall consists out of black cupboards and on the other side the walls have been kept white. I like the light and stylish dining area that connects to the kitchen as well. The copper and wood there make the entire look a little warmer and inviting.
