I think it’s interesting how well fashion and interior design go together and can be merged into an interior.

Deze maand was het Zweedse modelabel Mes Dames te gast bij Fantastic Frank en decoreerde ze dit mooie appartement in Stockholm met items uit hun collectie. Ik vind het interessant hoe goed mode en interieur design samen gaan en kunnen gecombineerd worden in een woning.

This weekend we were invited to the Swedish photography exhibition over at the latest Fantastic Frank apartment at Greifswalderstrasse in Berlin. I was completely in love with both the photographs and the 220m2 apartment which you can see in the pictures above, taken by Magnus Pettersson.  My favorite picture was ‘becoming wilderness VII’, taken by Inka Lindergard and Niclas Holmstrom of a burned forest in the US. The deep black of the pictures contrasted perfectly with the high white walls of the room. This gorgeous large apartment was the perfect, intimate location for a photo exhibition.

Dit weekend werden we uitgenodigd voor een Swedish photography tentoonstelling in het nieuwste appartement van Fantastic Frank in Greifswalderstrasse hier in Berlijn. Ik werd meteen verliefd op zowel het ultra stylish appartement alsook op een paar van de mooie foto’s die tentoongesteld werden. Hierboven kan je de foto’s zien van het 220m2 grote appartement, getrokken door Magnus Pettersson. Mijn favoriete werk was ‘becoming wilderness VII’, een foto van een afgebrand bos na de bosbranden vorig jaar in Amerika. Het diepe zwart van de foto stond in fel contrast tegen de mooie hoge witte muren van de woning. Dit prachtige appartement was de ideale en intieme locatie voor een foto tentoonstelling.

The gorgeous styling of this villa is a collaboration of Eva Lilja Löwenhielm and Fantastic Frank. Eva Lilja Löwenhielm is a very talented Swedish product designer who did projects for Filippa-K, Asplund and Ikea. The villa is full of her designs.

De super mooie stijl in deze villa is een samenwerking van Eva Lilja Löwenhielm en Fantastic Frank. Eva Lilja Löwenhielm is een super getalenteerde product designer uit Zweden. Ze werkte onder andere met merken als Filippa-K, Asplund en Ikea en leverde ook veel van de meubels en objecten aan die gebruikt werden in de styling van deze villa.

I love how simple this home is. It really shows how little you need to make a home stylish and personal. Just by adding a few design pieces, some vintage elements and some prints, this space becomes very interesting.

Ik vind het mooi hoe simpel deze woning is. Deze inrichting toont aan hoe weinig je eigenlijk nodig hebt om een ruimte stijlvol en persoonlijk in te richten. Door een paar design meubels, vintage elementen en prints toe te voegen, werd dit appartement meteen stylish.

For the decoration of this home which is for sale in Stockholm Fantastic Frank worked together with Mimmi Staaf. I think the result is very attractive and playful. I like the colors that are used, which makes the place a happy home.

Voor de inrichting van deze woning die te koop is in Stockholm, werkte Fantastic Frank samen met Mimmi Staaf. Het resultaat is een vrolijke en stylishe leefruimte. Ik vind de kleuren die gebruikt zijn heel leuk.

I like how all the black in this interior doesn’t make the place look dark or sad. Instead there is a lot if light beaming through the windows. I’m a big fan of the “Hi” in the bedroom and the white tiles with the black grout in the kitchen. On top of that, the Gubi mirror above the dining table is just gorgeous…it’s on my wishlist for a while now.

Ik vind het mooi hoe al het zwart en de donkere kleuren dit interieur er totaal niet donker of droevig doen uitzien. Integendeel, er straald zonlicht door de ramen. Ik ben verkocht voor de “Hi” in de slaapkamer en de Gubi spiegel boven de eettafel staat ook al een lange tijd op mijn verlanglijstje.

White can be so pure and clean. This home, styled by Fantastic Frank, really proves solely white can be really beautiful. The little pops of color (or maybe it’s better to say non-whites) really come out well. A wonderful home.

In deze woning, gestyled door Fantastic Frank, is bijna alles wit. De weinige gekleurde elemtenin de woning, zoals het hout en de vele planten, komen echt mooi uit door al het wit in de omgeving. Een pareltje.
