This is the gorgeous 1920 Finnish home of interior designer Joanna Laajisto and photographer Mikko Ryhanen (who also took these pictures). It has this typical bright and simple Finnish elegance to it which I really love.

This is the small lake house in the Finnish forest of Petteri Knudsen. The interior is kept to a minimal, as the view is actually the only decoration one would need in this location.

Dit is de woning van Petteri Knudsen in de Finse bossen, vlak naast een meer. Het interieur werd heel simpel gehouden. Eigenlijk vervangt het mooie en rustgevende uitzicht elke vorm van nodige decoratie.

This home was created by designers Ulla Koskinen and Sameli Rantanen as a prototype for construction company Kannustalo. Now they live in the home themselves and it serves as their residence and as a center of their business (Sameli has his office at home as well). The biggest part of the home is an open space, where the kitchen, living room and dining area are located. The bathroom has a big window so you can see the landscape while bathing, cool !

Deze woning is ontworpen door designers Ulla Koskinen en Sameli Rantanen als prototype voor het constructie bedrijf Kannustalo. Nu wonen ze zelf in de woning die deels dient om te leven, deels om te werken (Sameli’s kantoor is ook in het huis gevestigd). Het grootste deel van het huis is een open ruimte, waar zich de keuken, de living en de eetkamer bevinden. De badkamer heeft een super groot raam, zodat je op het landschap kan uitkijken terwijl je een bad neemt, leuk !
