This is a beautiful Danish home in a former post office with a lot of open space. I’m in love with the light ash wooden floor and how the owners combined both modern and antique furniture.

Dit is een stijlvol huis in Denemarken, gevestigd in een vroeger postkantoor. Hierdoor is er veel ademruimte en natuurlijk licht. Ik vind de as-kleurige houten vloer heel erg mooi samen met de combinatie van moderne en antieke meubelstukken.

It has this typical bright and simple Finnish elegance to it which I really love.

Dit is het prachtige Finse huis, gebouwd in 1920, van interieur ontwerpster Joanna Laajisto en fotograaf Mikko Ryhanen (die deze foto’s heeft getrokken).  De inrichting heeft een typisch Finse lichtheid en elegance, die ik heel mooi vind.

I don’t think the owners of this home designed by Stine Langvad will ever get bored. Everywhere you look, there is something interesting. Around every corner there is a new pattern, print or interesting piece of furniture to be found. My favorite rooms of this home are by far the bathrooms. I love the tiles, concrete sinks and the golden tabs together.

Ik denk niet dat de eigenaars van deze woning snel verveeld zullen raken in dit interieur ontworpen door Stine Langvad. Overal waar je kijkt, zie je iets interessants. Achter elk hoekje schuilt een nieuw patroon, een originele print of een uniek meubelstuk. Mijn favoriete ruimten in deze woning zijn zeker en vast de badkamers. Ik vind de tegels, betonnen lavabos en gouden kranen tezamen heel erg mooi.

Toen ik deze woning van Sanna Fisher Nordstrom zag op de Lovelylife blog moest ik dit natuurlijk met jullie delen. Ik vind de grijstint die gebruikt is voor de keukenkastjes heel erg mooi. Deze tint komt ook terug in de boekenkast en in andere details doorheen het huis. Voor meer foto’s van Sanna’s mooie woning kan je hier een kijkje nemen.

Hi there, I hope you all had some wonderful Christmas days and good times with your families. I certainly enjoyed a few days of relaxing and family time. This is the big apartment of a Norwegian family in Copenhagen with gorgeous natural elements and a combination of different patterns. I love the combination of different woods.

Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal genoten hebben van een de laatste dagen en gezellig hebben kunnen samen zitten met familie en vrienden. Ik heb er alleszins echt van genoten.
Dit is het ruime appartement van een Noorse familie in Kopenhagen met veel natuurlijke elementen en een combinatie van verschillende patronen. Ik vind de combinatie van de verschillende houtsoorten mooi.

In this small home for example, I like how some extra chairs are used as wall decoration in the hallway and can be taken out when there are visitors.

Ik ben altijd geïnteresseerd hoe mensen met creatieve oplossingen komen voor kleine woningen. In deze woning bijvoorbeeld, werden de extra klapstoelen aan de muur in de hal gehangen als decoratie. Wanneer er bezoek komt kunnen de extra stoelen gebruikt worden.

Stina Dahl renovated her Copenhagen apartment using mostly materials traditionally used outdoors. She likes her interior to be a combination of recycled items, design and homemade things. I think it’s that combination that makes her apartment so unique.

Stina Dahl renoveerde haar appartement in Copenhagen met materialen die traditie gewijs buiten horen. Ze vind haar interieur leuk wanneer het een combinatie bevat van gerecycleerde elementen, design stukken en zelfgemaakte dingen. Ik denk dat het net deze combinatie is die haar appartement zo mooi en uniek maakt.

This Fantastic Frank apartment in Stockholm is only 37m2 large, but it certainly doesn’t seem like there isn’t enough space. By adding just the right amount of furniture, this studio actually looks quite spacious.

Dit Fantastic Frank appartement in Stockholm is maar 37m2 groot, maar het ziet er zeker niet uit alsof er niet genoeg plaats zou zijn om in te wonen. Door net het juiste aantal meubelen en decoratie toe te voegen, ziet de ruimte er eigenlijk ruim uit.
