I love the winter-light in this home. It bounces off so nicely on the muted colors in the interior and makes the rooms very cozy. It makes me want to cuddle up in the sofa with a blanket and hot coco.

Ik vind het winter-licht in deze woning heel erg mooi. Het weerkaatst zo mooi op de vage kleuren in het interieur en maakt elke ruimte heel gezellig. Als ik naar deze foto’s kijk zou ik me het liefst in de zetel nestelen met een dekentje en een warme chocolade melk.

White walls, white floor, white ceilings and white furniture … what could easily turn into hospital-cleanness is made so cozy and warm in this home. An inviting and cozy atmosphere is created by adding some wood, a colorful carpet and some brown leather tulip chairs. I like it a lot, it looks warm and stylish but not too clean.

Witte muren, een witte vloer en witte meubelen … wat normaal gezien in een klinisch en ongezellig interieur zou kunnen uitdraaien is hier zo mooi en gezellig gemaakt. Er is een warme sfeer gecreeerd door een beetje hout, een gekleurd tapijt en lederen ‘tulip’ zeteltjes toe te voegen. Ik vind het resultaat geslaagd, heel strak en stylish, maar ook niet te kil.

To be all honest with you, I didn’t even fully accept that the summer is over, so entering the shops and seeing all these Christmas decorations (as pretty as they can be) doesn’t get me all too excited yet. But seeing the beautiful Christmas vibe in this home kind of makes me want to go buy some more season-appropriate decorations.

Om eerlijk te zijn heb ik het eigenlijk nog niet helemaal aanvaard dat de zomer nu toch echt achter de rug is. Om dezer dagen in de winkels binnen te wandelen en al de kerstversiering te zien hangen (hoe mooi ook), het doet me nog niet echt springen. Maar als ik naar deze mooie kerstachtige woning kijk, moet ik zeggen dat ik toch zin krijg om mijn decoratie aan het seizoen aan te passen.

In this apartment both antique and modern furniture and elements are combined. I love this mix of history and stories against clean modern lines. I think they go very well together and make an interior authentic.

In dit appartement zijn zowel moderne meubelen als antieke elementen gecombineerd. Ik vind deze mix van geschiedenis met verhalen naast de strakke moderne lijnen heel mooi. Ik denk dat ze heel goed samen gaan en een karakter aan een woning kunnen geven.

The warm grey walls in combination with the pastel details and the strong portraits on the wall make this bedroom very interesting. Wherever you look, you will see something special.

Ik hou van de zachtheid en de gezelligheid die deze slaapkamer uitstraalt. De warme, grijze muren samen met de pastel kleurige details en de sterke portretten aan de muur maken dit een interessante ruimte. Waar je ook kijkt, er is altijd wel iets leuks te vinden. Dit is zeker geen saaie slaapkamer !

Small and lovely home

It’s always a challenge to live in a small home but still decorate it well. Even more than in a big home, you have to put a lot of thought in what you buy and what you put into the house. This is a beautiful example of a very small (one room) apartment, which is very nicely decorated.
