Raft stool moved into our home - cocolapinedesign.com Raft stool moved into our home - cocolapinedesign.com Raft stool moved into our home - cocolapinedesign.com Raft stool moved into our home - cocolapinedesign.comI was eyeing on this Raft stool from &Tradition for a while and after trying it out in one of my stylings, I decided that it had to move into our home as well.  I’m not entirely sure about where to put it yet, but for now it stands by the wall next to my Studio Esinam Berlin poster. The stool is the only black item I have in our interior and therefor stands out very nicely.

Ik had al lang een oogje op de zwarte Raft stoel van &Tradition en nadat ik hem kon uitproberen in één van mijn stylings had ik meteen beslist dat het stoeltje ook in ons interieur goed zou passen. Ik ben nog niet helemaal zeker waar ik het zal zetten, maar voorlopig staat hij tegen de muur naast mijn Berlin poster van Studio Esinam. Het stoeltje is het enige zwarte meubelstuk dat wij hebben en contrasteert zo mooi tegen de andere meubelen.

Like many of you, I have always been a fan of their work  — as you might have seen from the number of their pictures in this blog.

This was my first collaboration with Fantastic Frank, and it was great. I am very happy with the results and excited to share them with you.

It was great to style this all white and brightly lit apartment. It felt like getting a clean white canvas to fill up with objects, prints and furniture of my choice. I went for a very clean and simple styling with my current favorite objects. I even had the opportunity to try out my latest print project ‘Mountain ABC’, which I hope to share with you soon.

I  love how the photographs turned out and how the space emphasized the decoration by mirroring it on the smooth white floors. Looking forward to my next styling with Fantastic Frank. Hope you enjoyed seeing this one as much as I enjoyed working on it.

Vorige week had ik de mogelijkheid een appartement in te richten in Berlijn voor Fantastic Frank. Zoals velen onder jullie, ben ik een grote fan van hun werk — zoals je kan zien aan de vele foto’s van hen op deze blog.

Dit was mijn eerste samenwerking met Fantastic Frank en het was geweldig. Ik ben heel blij met de resultaten en enthousiast om ze met jullie te delen.

Het was leuk om deze lichte, witte ruimte te stylen. Het voelde als een leeg wit canvas, dat ik kon opvullen met objecten, prints en meubelen naar mijn keuze. Ik ben gegaan voor een eenvoudige stijl met mijn favoriete objecten. Ik had zelfs de mogelijkheid om mijn nieuwste print ‘Mountain ABC’ uit te proberen, die ik snel met jullie hoop te delen.

Ik ben heel blij met het resultaat van de foto’s en hoe de ruimte de objecten deed opvallen door de reflectie op de witte vloer. Ik kijk al uit naar mijn volgende styling met Fantastic Frank. Ik hoop dat jullie de foto’s mooi vinden. Ik heb in ieder geval veel plezier beleefd met dit project.

There is a nice balance of color going on in this Melbourne apartment. My favorite area in this home is the workspace behind the blue sliding door. When you really have to concentrate you can close the door and shut yourself off.

De kleuren in dit appartement zijn erg mooi in balans. Mijn favoriete plekje in deze woning is de werkplaats achter de blauwe schuifdeur. Wanneer je je echt moet concentreren doe je gewoon de schuifdeur toe om jezelf af te sluiten.

Book Wall - via Coco Lapine DesignI love everything about this setting: the fireplace with the wood blocks, the big white bookshelf covering the entire wall, the spotted concrete floor and of course the gorgeous &Tradition furniture. It’s a dream combination.

Ik vind alles aan deze ruimte mooi: de open haard met de houtbalken opgestapeld, de grote witte boekenkast over de gehele muur, de betonnen muur met verfspatten en natuurlijk ook de stijlvolle &Tradition meubelen. Een droom combinatie.

I like that you can see the roof of the house in this room. To divide the kitchen an the living room, they used a kitchen island.

In deze Zweedse woning, de living en de keuken zijn geplaatst in één grote ruimte. Deze ruimte heeft heel hoge ramen en plafonds, waar je tot in de nok van het dak kan zien. Om de grote ruimte wat in te delen is er een keuken eiland geplaatst dat de keuken van de living scheidt.

I love how simple this home is. It really shows how little you need to make a home stylish and personal. Just by adding a few design pieces, some vintage elements and some prints, this space becomes very interesting.

Ik vind het mooi hoe simpel deze woning is. Deze inrichting toont aan hoe weinig je eigenlijk nodig hebt om een ruimte stijlvol en persoonlijk in te richten. Door een paar design meubels, vintage elementen en prints toe te voegen, werd dit appartement meteen stylish.

I love the thought trough simplicity with which this apartment is decorated. Every single piece of furniture, every object seems carefully chosen (and of a nice design brand as well). I love the little corner upstairs with the workspace and the bed, it’s just seems so cozy there.

Ik vind dat je aan dit appartement echt kan zien hoeveel tijd en energie er is gestoken in het selecteren van de juiste meubels en objecten (van leuke design merken), en ze dan ook nog op de juiste plaatsen te presenteren. Ik vind het hoekje bovenaan de trap, waar het bed en de bureau is geplaatst ook heel gezellig.
