Studio home with a deep warm color palette

This studio home combines the living room and bedroom in one big space, and even though it would be easy to add doors in between the two areas, the open plan makes the apartment look spacious. By adding a canopy above the bed, the two rooms are visually more separated and the area where the bed is placed becomes its’ own space.

The living room has been decorated with a lot of textiles in a deep warm color palette. The muted green on the velvet sofa adds a lot of character to the room and combines so nicely with the textured area rug that covers almost the entire living room. The art prints add a lot visually and the small accessories and plants finish off the look nicely.

The canopy in the bedroom is great for separating the functional areas in the floor plan and does so much to the look of the area. The white linen of the canopy combines wonderfully with the speckled bedsheets and the darker tints in the lamp and the art print.

I’m not such a fan of the black kitchen, but absolutely love this small white dining table in front of the window, which is perfect for two people. Being able to fit the table in the kitchen frees up space in the living area for other things as well.
