A Quiet Reflection

I didn’t get the chance to visit Stockholm during design week unfortunately but was able to follow it through Instagram stories of the people that went. If you follow the same people I follow you probably have seen these images already. This beautiful concept is called quite reflections and is a collaboration with Residence and Japanese interior designer Ariake.

The exhibition is created so the visitors can experience the pieces in a real environment, a home. The location (built in 1896) has the original architectural details intact and once was a private residence formerly belonging to the Mexican embassy. The handpicked items that are displayed go perfectly with the rough walls and create a magical combination of old, new, soft and rough.
