Bed and Breakfast in a Belgian Bunker

The Bunkers is a new Bed and Breakfast located in the west of Flanders situated in the middle of vast fields and quite sheep herds. The building was originally built out of concrete during World War I, however today it is both the home of a design loving family and a newly opened B&B.

The architects Govaert & Vanhoutte transformed the bunker into a contemporary 5 room guest house by adding a wooden extension and metal frame windows. The home includes a complete Vipp kitchen with concrete finishes and wood beams and finishings make the interior look nothing like a bunker from the inside.
