Cathrine Bækken’s home

Last week I discovered this absolutely stunning home in Bergen, Norway on Katerina Dima’s beautiful blog and just had to share it here with you as well. This is the home of the interior architect behind Heem Studio. Their work is very striking, yet minimal and characterful. I find it so interesting to see how such talented interior specialist live and what they choose to decorate their own home with.

The place that stands out most in these pictures for me is the round dining table with the Vitra wire chairs. This dining area seems to be the centre of the interior and it gets so much light as well. The Ikea picture ledges on the wall make for a great display solution (like Nina Holst from Stylizimo did in her home as well) and the grey on the walls is very subtile.

The adjacent living area with the cognac leather sofa is a real eye-catching setting as well and I love the big round mirror in combination with the black Flos 265 wall lamp. I adore every single corner of this home and now I’m off to scroll through the other amazing projects Heem completed.
