Small kitchen in black

When I was on the market for a new apartment last year I saw so many places here in Munich with a very narrow kitchen and thought this could become challenging to design. I ended up with a living kitchen in my current apartment, so this wasn’t an issue, but I still love to see the solution in this Swedish home for the exact problem.

A combination of high and low modules on the one side with black doors and a metro tiled wall gives ample storage, while the side of the window was kept free for a dining table. The foldable round dining table that is used here fits into the space perfectly with the two bentwood chairs on each side. The curvy sides of the table give the illusion of so much more empty space around it, making the room look bigger.
