As a designer, Vasiliy Butenko creates objects and spaces with the goal of informing people that the world may be aesthetically rich and beautiful and people can be a part of this world. For the design of the “Messy lamp”, the challenge was to make an object with a messy form, but with strict structure, like the complex geometry of nature. The lamp is created in such a way, that you can only see from the top how the petals are built.
