I’m very excited to tell you that I wrote my first blogpost for Mookum, a design platform that puts young design talent in the spotlight and gives you the opportunity to buy upcoming designs while you still can. I wanted to start of with some workspace inspiration for my first post.

What you put on your desk can highly affect both your productivity and creativity. I personally like to surround myself with pictures, books and objects that inspire me, but at the same time don’t cause too much clutter so I can still concentrate.

I think the workspaces in these pictures styled by Gitte Kjaer and photographed by Mikkel Rahr Mortensen for RUM do exactly that: they are interesting and inspiring, but at the same time look very clean and uncluttered. Of course these workspaces are styled for the purpose of styling, but I could certainly get some inspiration from these for my own workspace.

Ik ben heel blij om jullie te vertellen dat ik net mijn eerste blogpost heb geschreven voor Mookum, een design platform dat jonge designers in de spotlight zet en je de kans geeft om van opkomend talent te kopen nu het nog kan. Voor mijn eerste post wilde ik starten met inspiratie voor de werkplek.

Wat je op je bureau plaats kan je productiviteit en ook je creativiteit beïnvloeden. Ik vind het persoonlijk leuk om me te omringen met foto’s, boeken en objecten die me inspireren, zonder dat het er rommelig uitziet zodat ik me goed kan concentreren.

Ik denk dat deze werkplekken gestyled door Gitte Kjaer en gefotografeerd door Mikkel Rahr Mortensen voor RUM het helemaal juist doen: ze zijn interessant en inspirerend, maar zien er ook clean en ordelijk uit. Natuurlijk zijn deze werkplek gestyled voor de foto’s, maar ik kan er zeker en vast inspiratie uit halen voor mijn eigen werkplek.
