My office is the room in our home that still needs the most work, but at least I decided on the position of my desk in this space. I had the String Pocket in our previous home in Berlin above the dining table, and now I finally found the perfect place for it here next to my desk. The shelf makes this corner look so much more stylish and I finally have a place where I can display small items and keep things I need close by.

In the living room I’m actually planning a bigger String system configuration as well which I’m so excited for to start building. We have quite a long and narrow living room, which makes the layout a bit more difficult. I would love a small dining table there in addition to our bigger dining table in the kitchen but the only way this would fit is against the wall. I also need space for our books and a display for small decoration items so this String setup is the perfect solution.

I will use the String folding table on one side of the shelf, which is perfect for the two of us and regular shelves for books and decorations on the rest of the shelf. When we need the space I can clap down the table and place the chairs somewhere else. This setup will be perfect in our living room and I can’t wait to start decorating it and show you more.
