With temperatures decreasing, I find myself inside a lot more and I find things like baking cakes and cookies so cozy and comforting. For this blogpost I teamed up with Dille & Kamille for a winter baking session. I have been going to their shop in Antwerp ever since I was a kid and I’m sure my Dutch and Belgian readers know their stores as well.

Their collection consists out of natural materials and functional, basic design for everything around the house, kitchen and garden. You will find everything you need for enjoying daily things and all objects have this simple, no-nonsense look that I like so much. Dille & Kamille recently opened up a German online shop, so we can find all their goodies here now as well.

I decided to make cinnamon buns (or knots in this case  actually), which I thought was perfect for these colder temperatures. They made my kitchen smell amazing and we enjoyed them over a cup of coffee after. I used the nice looking chrome and porcelain baking accessories from Dille & Kamille and the oven mit and organic cotton towels are from their textile collection.

I used this recipe for the cinnamon buns and if you’re wondering how to make the knots, I found a good explanation here.
