Fusion collection by Georg Jensen

When it comes to my interior, I like to create a space of peace and calm for myself, where I can find rest and feel it ease. I decorate my own home in very neutral colors, with quality pieces and timeless design. In my outfits, I like to keep it simple as well and the high quality, timeless pieces that I own sort of go in line with what I value in my interior, however with a bit more color as I feel like it reflects my personality.

As I like to keep my outfit simple, I don’t have a lot of jewellery, but rather have a few carefully selected items, which I collected slowly over the years and which I plan to have for the rest of my life. I love it when a certain piece has a story and is linked to a person. A few years ago, my grandma went to buy a jewel with each of her grandchildren to have something to remember her by. I picked out a ring back then and it’s still my favorite piece because I think of her whenever I wear it.

Jewellery should be personal, have a story and should follow you throughout your life I think, which is why I’m such a big fan of Georg Jensen from Copenhagen. I got my first Georg Jensen piece (the Torun bangle, with my initials engraved) a few years back and it has been glued to my wrist ever since. I just recently got to try out their new Fusion collection, which you can see in the pictures above.

Nina Koppel originally designed the Fusion ring in 2000 and its flowing wave motif can be combined with a choice of one to three gold rings to create a ring as delicate or bold as you like.

The many different interlocking elements of gold and diamonds that form Georg Jensen’s Fusion collection allow multiple combinations that each tell a different story or express different facets of an individual’s personality. My favorite is the 3 piece Fusion ring as it reflects the bound I have with my 2 sisters. One day I would like to gift a 3 piece ring to each of them !

Next year, Fusion will celebrate its 20th anniversary and for this occasion, the Fusion collection is seamlessly extended into bangles, pendants and earrings. The Fusion bangle includes an open form, which creates a play of light and space and makes the piece look modern and light. I love them both combined and can’t wait to wear them for dinner on Friday !

This blogpost was created in collaboration with Georg Jensen, however all opinions are my own of course. If you would like to know more about the brand and their new Fusion collection, have a look on their website.
