I was first introduced to Editions de Parfums  Frédéric Malle on my trip to Paris a few weeks back and have been a fan of the brand that puts its Perfumers in the spotlight ever since.

I had filled out a questionnaire on the Frédéric Malle website to figure out my signature scent and got three great recommendations in my mailbox, which I went to try out here in Munich.

In the end I went with Angelique Sous La Pluie by Jean-Claude Ellena, which is beautifully described as a watercolor sketch of angelica flowers tinted with spots of juniper berries, pink pepper and bergamot, on a vibrant base of cedar and white musk.
