Characterful kitchen and dining area

One of the elements I find most inspiring about a home is character and personality. When you follow trends blindly, I think a home can become so bland and neutral, which I find very uninspiring. On the other hand, I love to see homes like this one in Sweden, where you start wondering about the people who live there.

I love the way the kitchen was built around the pipes that where there on the wall and even though this is not a design element per se, they have been integrated well on the tiled wall with the shelving. Imperfection adds personality and it’s lovely when you can work with the elements that a home provides. I love the custom glass shelving on the tiled wall, which looks light and modest.

The dining area next to the kitchen consist mainly out of vintage furniture, and I love the vintage cupboard for the vinyl player with the old wooden mirror above it. The oversized poster on the wall next to the dining table has a wow effect as well and I love the way the blue in the print adds a pop of color here.
