Fresh home with subtle colors

I love the fresh look of this home that gets so much natural sunlight through these turn-of-the-century windows. The subtle wall colors and the white soaped flooring are enhanced by subtle colors in the accessories and a variety of fresh green plants throughout the space. The living room is the center of the apartment, which connects to the bedroom and the kitchen. The white sofa, combined with the light grey area rug and the beige and grey tints in the art prints make for a very cozy and inviting space. I love the way the old doorway has been transformed into a shelving space for small decoration items and the big fig tree in front of the balcony window is a real statement piece.

The beautiful sand-colored shaker kitchen with dark marble countertops goes very nicely with the historical details of the building. The big oval dining table combined with oak chairs and a darker grey area rug seems like the perfect spot to have dinner as a family and the green plants add a fresh touch to the kitchen.

The bedroom has a round shape, which you don’t see that often, yet might be a little bit more tricky to decorate. I love the small home office in front of the window combined with the antique mirror on the wall and I think the blue bedspread adds a fresh touch in this part of the apartment as well.
