How impressive is this turn-of-the-century home in green? I love the selection of wall colors and the different shades of mint and sage green on both the wall and the window frames. This darker shade makes the historic details like the skirting, door frames, and the windows stand out even more and I love the way the green has been combined with different tints of wood.
The kitchen has mint green cabinet fronts as well, with chrome handles and a grey stone countertop. The layout of the kitchen is planned with lower cabinets on the side of the window and wall cabinets on the side opposing the window for a lighter look with lots of storage space considering the rather small size of this room.
Going from the living room into the bedroom, open shelving has been custom-built around the doorway. This shelf is filled with colorful books that really stand out against the green paint of the shelf. The rest of the furniture in the living room is rather modest, which balances out the bolder color choice. Both in the living room and in the bedroom, some pink elements are used to add an extra pop of color and I love the way the palm in front of the bedroom window stands out.
