Stylish attic apartment with a strange layout

This attic home has a very strange layout, which is difficult to decorate to say the least. For starters there are so many different angles in the ceiling, with lower areas to take into account where you can’t stand and to add to this the rooms don’t really have straight walls either, which makes it difficult to find the right spot for your furniture. That said though, I think the layout of this home works so nicely and I think the perfect setup was found with the kitchen that wraps around the wall and the built-in cabinets in the same style in the living kitchen for extra storage.

I love the wood-paneled wall, which adds extra dimension to this space and the large mirror leaning against it reflects the light and the room, making the apartment seem bigger. In the bedroom, the same effect was achieved with a beautiful curved mirror and I love that there is a spot for a little home office. By picking out a desk that hangs on the wall, a lot of space is saved and you still create a lovely spot to get some work done.
