I think this beautiful turn-of-the-century apartment in Sweden looks so balanced, both in terms of color palette and in the selection of furniture and accessories. The interior has been kept very minimal however, it’s not the typical modern style we have in mind when we think about minimalism. The style of this apartment is laid back, rustic, and has some farmhouse elements, though in a modern way.
The light-flooded kitchen has a beautiful round dining table, combined with vintage chairs and a little bench. This area looks very inviting and I love the way the kitchen opens up towards the living room, which also features a lovely combination of modern and classic furniture pieces. The beautiful art piece covers almost the entire wall and matches the color palette perfectly.
I think the white-sanded floors combined with the white walls and beautiful moldings provide the perfect white canvas for the darker furniture and the brown fabrics that you see popping up throughout this space.
The minimal bedroom with white wainscoting is contrasted by dark textiles and furniture pieces for a strong yet simple look.
