10 Beautiful homes to take inspiration from

Let’s start this inspiration roundup with a beautiful home decorated in tints of grey, blue and warm elements. The living and dining room has been furnished with a velvet blue sofa, combined with a mixture of vintage and modern furniture in predominantly warm wood tints. The entire living space has wainscoting applied to the walls, which have been painted in a darker tone to accentuate it even better. I love the open shelving by the dining area, which is ideal to display books and accessories. The bedroom has been painted in a dark muted blue color, which pairs up so nicely with the beige and white bedsheets on the bed.

The second apartment is mainly beige, which could easily become boring, yet this place looks perfectly balanced and has a very soft look and feel to it. The bedroom, which can be peeked into from the living room has a deep green color, which adds an element of interest and pairs up nicely with all the beige.

This gorgeous turn-of-the-century home has so many windows, which let in the most beautiful daylight. The interior has been kept mostly white and light, which makes the dark-stained oak kitchen stand out in such a lovely way. The bedroom has curved walls, which is such a cool feature that stands out on its own and doesn’t need much in terms of decor (simple works best in this case).

This beautiful Swedish apartment is slightly more daring in terms of color palette. The different elements of color in the living room really brighten up the space and from the living room, you can look into the small bedroom which has been painted in a dark blue color entirely(including doors, windows, and ceiling). I love the way the beige bedding stands out in this dark color palette and I think this painting job has a dramatic effect that adds so much character.

This apartment has beige walls and a light look that looks balanced and calm. The bedroom and living room have both been painted in different shades of beige, which work well together yet are distinct from each other. I love the way the blue in the art print above the sofa adds a cooler tint to the otherwise warm atmosphere and I think the green velvet chairs at the kitchen table have a similar effect in the space.

The living room in this bright Swedish apartment looks twice as big because of the fully mirrored storage solution, which reflects the space and the light coming from the windows. I love that the side by the window has been kept open and provides a perfect location for a little home office. The doorway by the dining table was closed and has been turned into a framed gallery wall which is such a nice touch.

This beautiful apartment has been decorated with tints of beige, white, black, and darker wood tints for a warm and inviting look and feel. The vintage furniture pieces add so much character to this space and I like that the color palette of the bedroom and kitchen complement the other rooms. The long and narrow desk by the wall in the living room fits there perfectly and doesn’t take up so much space either.

This smaller home has some bright color accents that spruce up the place in a lovely way and a glass partition divides the living room and bedroom without making the space feel too small. I think the vintage dining table combined with the bentwood dining chairs finishes off the look perfectly.

I love the mixture of beiges with a deeper color palette in the furniture and accessories in this home. The color palette comes back in the bedroom as well as in the living room. The large fluffy area rug adds a lot of texture to the sofa area and I like that a round mirror is placed by the dining table to reflect the light. In the bedroom, a small home office is added which matches the style of the space perfectly.

In this two-level home, the minimal yet elegant kitchen really takes up all the attention downstairs. The light cabinet fronts are paired up with black wall lights, a black faucet, and a black dining table for a powerful contrast. The bedroom and another living space can be found upstairs, all in the same, beautiful warm color palette.
