Bespoke kitchen manufacturer Nordiska Kök from Sweden has teamed up with AO/JN Interiors for this one-of-a-kind statement kitchen design with a minimalist appearance, which is enhanced with Arabescato Corchia marble slabs and has elements of Italian, Scandinavian, and French interior design combined.
The Arabescato Corchia marble has a darker grain than classic white marble, which gives the kitchen an elegant look. The marble stands in sharp contrast with the minimal, white kitchen cabinets and gives the turn-of-the-century space a modern twist. The backsplash is extended into a marble floating shelf that blends in with the background.
The Arbescato marble also comes back in the elaborate design of the kitchen island, which features a breakfast bar and a stepped design on the bottom.
The minimal white cabinets and the bold marble surfaces are combined with stainless steel countertops, which gives the design a modern twist and a youthful, elegant touch.
The existing architectural elements in the space, like the beautiful historic fireplace, are highlighted by the design of the kitchen. The cupboards on the side of the fireplace are curved, emphasizing this ornate historic element. The crown molding on the ceiling follows the curved in the cabinets, which is a nice touch.
