A dark green bedroom in a small apartment

This small apartment space definitely has a lot of character coming from the dark green bedroom and the dark grey wall color in the living room. While usually it is recommended to paint smaller spaces with lighter wall colors to make them appear bigger, in this case, the darker wall colors work great in this compact apartment.

A dark grey living room wall for a moody effect

The dark grey living room walls add a dramatic effect to this small living room yet because of the amount of daylight that comes in and the large white trim below the ceiling, the interior still looks and feels spacious.

The combination of the artwork, the vintage coffee table, and the grey velvet sofa add even more character to this space.

The real eye-catcher in the living room is the grey-painted Ikea Ivar cabinet, which is enhanced with a brass top and backsplash for a unique effect.

A black desk and chair in a small home office spot

One wall of the living room is dedicated to a small living room home office spot. Since the black wing doors leading up to the dark green bedroom are so apparent, they are matched with a black office desk and chair that complements the space nicely.

A compact kitchen with an interesting layout

The kitchen and living room are combined in one room. Because of this, the need for a compact kitchen arises that would have all functionality on a small surface. The oven module and fridge have been combined into one block that is accessible from two sides for an elegant, space-saving layout solution.

The kitchen sink has been built inside of a nook in the wall to be able to save as much space as possible. The all-white kitchen contrasts nicely with the dark grey wall color of the living room.

A dark green bedroom with a large white trim

The dark green bedroom wall color works in perfect combination with the dark grey on the walls in the living room and I love the way both wall colors can be seen together. Just like in the living room, a large white trim finishes off the dark green wall color for a lighter effect.

The built-in storage and the wall shelving have both been painted in the same color as the walls for a tone-on-tone effect contrasted by the light beige bedding on the bed.

A small hallway with a mirrored Ikea PAX wardrobe

The hallway is small, yet by using mirrored PAX wardrobe doors, the space looks much larger than it is. The wardrobe has been built inside a nook in the wall for seamless integration in the space.
