While this entire Swedish apartment is styled and decorated to perfection, it’s the terracotta accent wall in the kitchen dining area that stands out to me the most. The rest of the space has been decorated with a mixture of greige, beige, and grey wall colors complemented by a wide array of vintage furniture in different wood tones.
A kitchen dining area with a terracotta accent wall
The layout of this beautiful galley kitchen is slightly awkward, with a hallway-like layout that leads up to the window where you can find a small dining area. This section of the kitchen gets so much attention because of its terracotta accent wall, which is so apparent compared to the white and wood color palette in the kitchen.
The simple wall shelf with brackets above the dining table was painted in the same color as the wall for a tone-on-tone look, making the elements on the shelf stand out in a nice way. The black Marseille wall lamp from Nemo Lighting stands out in this beautiful setting and the small round dining table fits perfectly in front of the window.
An off-white kitchen finished off with wood tones
Since the terracotta accent wall takes up all the attention when looking into the kitchen, the kitchen design itself has a more modest color palette. The combination of the off-white kitchen cabinets paired up with the wood countertop and the wood hardware warms the space up, while the stainless steel adds a modern touch.
The warm wood tones in the kitchen materials pair up nicely with the white-soaped hardwood flooring and the combination of white and beige walls.
A cozy greige living room with different wood tones
The living room has a greige wall color that warms the interior design up in a subtle way and makes the beautiful white crown molding on the ceiling stand out. The combination of different wood tones in the vintage furniture pieces spread throughout the living room makes for an interesting mix in the palette.
A grey bedroom with a dark grey wardrobe
From the greige living room, you can peek into the bedroom through two beautiful wing doors. I love the combination of the greige living room walls with the grey walls in the bedroom. The two spaces work very nicely together and complement each other’s color palettes.
The dark grey wardrobe pairs up nicely with the grey wall color and the grey bar cart next to the bed that functions as a bedside table complements the palette nicely as well. The mixture of beiges and yellows in the textiles and artwork contrast nicely with the cool undertones in the grey paint.
