This beautiful attic apartment with white walls and a neutral interior color palette is finished off with a green and black color palette in the accessories and kitchen. The spacious living room has a glass partition wall that separates a home office space with a beautiful desk with integrated storage from the living room. The bedroom has a custom wardrobe over the bed for optimized storage opportunities.
The green kitchen with black countertops adds a contrasting palette to the interior of the apartment which is otherwise dominated by the white walls throughout. The black accents come back in the different rooms in the smaller accessories, lamps, and textiles as a red thread.
A kitchen with a green and black color palette and a small breakfast nook
The open-plan kitchen layout is built on a wall with a relatively high ceiling for an attic apartment, allowing for a combination of upper and lower cabinets and lots of storage space. The sage green kitchen cabinets are paired up with a black countertop and backsplash and finished off with black hardware for a powerful, contrasting look that complements the light hardwood flooring in the space.
A cozy breakfast nook with a bench made out of the same materials as the kitchen forms the dining area. The small round dining table in front of the storage bench paired up with three elegant wood dining chairs fills the space between the kitchen and the hallway.
A cozy attic living room with green and black accents
The grey fabric sofa fills the entire living room wall and is matched by a pouf in the same fabric on top of a large fluffy area rug that adds a lot of texture to the space. The light wood tones and black accent pieces combined with the elegant art prints above the sofa finish the living room off nicely.
A home office behind a black metal glass partition
Part of the hallway and living room has been separated by the use of a black metal glass partition with a door, creating a separate home office space with a custom desk.
The long desk worktop rests on top of storage cabinets with wood-paneled doors, combining storage and a work spot into one custom furniture piece.
Custom open shelving next to the window provides the perfect place for storing books and accessories.
A bedroom with a built-in wardrobe around the bed
The custom-built wardrobe extends over the bed and provides lots of storage space underneath the sloped ceiling, an area that would otherwise be lost. The white cabinets blend in perfectly with the white walls and ceilings in the space and the wood panel headboard also comes back in the shelf by the bedroom window.
The wood panels on the hardboard in the niche for the bed are complemented with black wall lamps and a mixture of black, white, and beige textiles on the bed.
A large hallway space connecting all the rooms
The hallway has a rather odd shape, but it connects all the different rooms together in a nice way. The large standing mirror by the front door makes the space look bigger and lighter and the custom wood coat rack with a place for shoes fits perfectly against the narrow wall next to the door.
A concrete bathroom with black metal fittings
The concrete bathroom walls in this modern attic home form the perfect backdrop for the black fittings and the black sink cabinet. The free space next to the shower niche is used for the washing machine, with a custom board covering the top for folding clothes and keeping detergent,
