This gorgeous Swedish apartment has light beige walls throughout, with a few eye-catching pops of color and elegant decor pieces that enhance the unique interior design. The living room has a TV gallery wall, which subtly integrates this piece of electronics and gives it a unique spot on the wall.
The kitchen includes a breakfast nook and the bedroom has a wardrobe built over the bed for optimal storage opportunities. The design of this apartment stands out because of its beautiful custom cabinetry matched with some elegant vintage pieces and unique decor elements for a personalized look.
Beige living room walls with bright accents and a TV gallery wall
The beige living room walls are finished off with a wide white trim underneath the ceiling and warm beige linen curtains that frame the windows. The subtle color palette of the furniture pieces creates the perfect backdrop for a few colorful elements like the red TV bench, the blue Valerie Objects wall lamp, and the color variations in the art prints on the wall.
The TV is integrated into a gallery wall that spreads over the dining area as well. The combination of colors in the art print adds a unique effect to the beige walls and I love the pop of red in one of the art prints and on the TV bench.
Off-white kitchen cabinets with brass hardware
The galley kitchen space has antique white shaker cabinets combined with a dark stone countertop and beautiful brass hardware to finish the look off. The combination of tall cupboards with upper and lower cabinets fills the space with storage, however, by leaving the area close to the window free of upper cabinets, a lighter kitchen look is achieved.
A breakfast nook with shiplap walls is included in the area next to the window. The small table is attached to the bench with a leather cushion and is perfect for holding a cup of coffee in the morning.
A bedroom with built-in storage above the bed
The custom-built wardrobe spreads over the bed, providing the space with ample storage opportunities. The paint color on the cabinets matches the beige paint color on the bedroom walls and the brass hardware provides this custom built-in with a similar expression as the kitchen modules.
The upper cabinets can be reached by placing a ladder (stored in the hallway) on the gold ladder rail. The niche space for the bed has two wall lamps as reading lamps and a small bedside niche has been carved out on each side of the storage modules.
The red and white striped bedding on the bed adds a wonderful pop of color against the beige backdrop of the walls and cabinets.
A custom mudroom bench in the hallway
The hallway includes a custom mudroom bench with closed storage on top, a rail for jackets, and a bench with cubbies to store shoes. The top storage modules can be accessed with a ladder on a rail, just like in the bedroom.
A small concrete bathroom with a custom wood shelf
The small bathroom is covered in micro-cement, which gives it a subtle industrial look that is paired up with a custom wood shelf to add warmth to the setting. The shelf goes all the way up to the ceiling, which makes it blend into the space.
