This light-flooded attic apartment in Sweden (styled by Grey Deco, photographed by Henrik Linden, via Alvhem) has a beautiful tone of light grey paint on the living room and bedroom walls. These two rooms are adjacent and can be seen from each other, making it even more apparent that both spaces’ color palettes and decor complement each other.
The white kitchen features a beautiful marble countertop and its layout is planned to optimize for storage space on its different walls, allowing a spot for a small dining table in the middle.
The bedroom includes a small home office spot with a black desk that adds a lot of contrast to the setting which is decorated with mostly white textiles.
Grey living room walls paired with beige and brown tones for a cozy effect
The grey living room wall color adds a darker tone to the setting, which has been brightened up by the white sofa, the white area rug, and the set of two white marble coffee tables. The gallery wall above the sofa adds a unique effect to the space and I love that the brown tones in the left print come back in one of the throw pillows on the sofa.
The pairing of beige and white sheer curtains in front of the window finishes the interior decor off nicely and softens out the daylight that comes through the windows.
The mixture of different colors and textures on the throw pillows adds a beautiful and cozy effect to the space, which is enhanced by the texture of the area rug.
A white kitchen with a small dining area
The kitchen is painted in a beige wall color, which makes the white kitchen cabinets stand out in an elegant way. The white marble countertop and the chrome hardware provide a subtle modern look to the classic design of the cabinet fronts.
The room where the kitchen is placed is rather long and narrow, so the different kitchen modules are spread over different areas, allowing a small spot for a dining table right next to the main kitchen module.
The Moccamaster coffee maker in aluminum fits perfectly with the material choice of the hardware on the cabinets.
The side of one of the kitchen modules is used for a wardrobe module, combining kitchen and entryway storage into one.
The small dining area features wall shelves that have been painted in the same color as the wall for a tone-on-tone effect and a great spot for adding decor objects on display.
A light grey bedroom with a black home office desk
The bedroom wall color is the same one as the paint color used in the living room, connecting the color palettes of both spaces together. The bed with the white fabric headboard in front of the window is decorated with a mixture of beige and brown textiles that is similar to the arrangement on the living room sofa.
The black desk stands out against the wall color and the white bedside table. The black Wishbone chair completes this black aesthetic beautifully and the art prints finish the setting off in a perfect way.
