This gorgeous historic apartment in Sweden (styled by Emma Fisher and Annica Clarmell, photographed by Henrik Linden for Alvhem) has an impressive amount of natural daylight flowing in through those large historic windows. The living room is situated on the corner of the building, allowing daylight to flow in from both sides.
The light greige wall color in the living room is paired with a natural color palette in the furniture and accessories and the space includes a sofa section as well as a dining area.
The kitchen includes a dining table in front of the window and the bedroom that lies right next to the living room has a characteristic dark sand beige wall color paired with a beautiful mixture of light textiles in the bed.
A spacious living room with an abundance of natural light flowing in
The impressive turn-of-the-century architectural features of the building are most present in the living room with the four big windows on two of the walls. The living room walls are painted in a light greige wall color that accentuates the white crown molding underneath the ceiling and the beautiful white window frames.
The sofa area of the living room features a light grey sofa paired with beige and dark brown textiles and a light fluffy area rug adds a beautiful texture to the hardwood flooring. The cubist coffee table and side table add clean and minimal lines to the setting which are enhanced with an impressive vase with green branches next to the window.
The other side of the living room is a great spot for a daybed paired with a living room gallery wall in natural colors.
Right next to the historic double interior doors leading up to the bedroom, the TV is hung up on the wall. Right in front of the TV, you can find a cozy dining room section on top of a natural area rug.
The mixture of different classic dining chairs around the table has a bold and playful effect in the space, while the color palette is kept modest and natural.
A white kitchen with a dark wood dining table
The basic white kitchen features the same wall color as in the living room. The area in front of the kitchen window is a great spot for another spacious dining table paired with black bentwood chairs and a rice paper pendant light.
A spacious bedroom with sand beige walls and a mixture of textiles
The sand beige bedroom wall color adds a warm and cozy element to the sleeping space, which can be seen from the adjacent living room. The fluffy beige area rug underneath the bed complements the wall color perfectly and the white textile bed has a soft effect in the space.
The Ay Illuminate Z-series pendant lamp in black mesh adds another texture to the bedroom material palette and adds an original touch to the interior.
The vintage bookshelf in the corner with the lounge chair adds a beautiful warm wood tone in this corner and the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling curtains give the bedroom a hotel room look.
A narrow hallway with open shelving
The open shelving in the narrow hallway is a great spot for books and accessories. The white shelves blend in with the white wall for a minimal effect.
Two different tile designs in the bathroom
The white subway tiles on the bathroom walls are paired with a beautiful black and white floor tile for an elegant effect in the space.
