This beautiful apartment located in Sweden (Styled By Josefssonljung, photographed by Alen Cordic, for Nya Kvadrat) has an elegant and modest decor in a natural color palette, paired with white walls and white sheer curtain that makes the floor plan look spacious.
The floor plan is semi-open and the doorway in between the bedroom and the living room has a beautiful arch, which frames the beautiful color palette of the textiles on the bed.
This large apartment has a main bedroom and two smaller kid’s bedrooms, paired with a white kitchen with a dining space. The entryway of the apartment also functions as a home office spot, where a desk and storage for jackets and shoes are combined.
A neutral color palette in the living room with white walls
The living room lies in between the main bedroom, the kitchen, and the kid’s room, with doorways on either side of the space, making it a little bit more tricky to plan out the living room furniture.
A camel-colored fabric sofa fits perfectly in the area in front of the window, which is framed by a set of two sheer white curtains on a black rail. The beige area rug fills the entire width of the space and adds a cozy texture to the sofa area, which is paired with a glass coffee table and a teddy armchair.
The corner in between two doorways is an ideal spot for a mint green sideboard that stands out in the space because of its color. The small mirror above it reflects the space and the combination of the candle wall sconce with the art prints above the chair finishes the decor off nicely.
Beige textiles and white walls in the main bedroom
The spacious bedroom with white walls has a bed in the middle, a rattan daybed in front of the window, and a green-painted antique cabinet on the wall opposite the window. The fresh green fiddle fig tree next to the window adds a fresh touch to the color palette, which is mainly based on the mixture of beige tones on the bed.
The white wall lamps blend into the wall above the bed and the simple art print in the middle adds a subtle piece of decor to the setting.
A simple peg rail next to the arched doorway is paired with a beautiful oak stool.
A cozy kid’s room with lots of textiles
The white walls in the kid’s room are paired with beiges and browns in the textiles, which makes the cute dusty blue table and bench stand out nicely. The Japanese rice paper lamp is a true focal point in the middle of the space and can be observed from the living room.
A second kid’s room with a floating desk
The second kid’s room features a single bed in modest decor, with a beautiful floating desk attached to the wall and a mixture of different playful patterns on the bed.
The floating desk fits perfectly next to the walk-in closet and since there are no legs on the bottom, the desk has a light appearance in the relatively small space.
A white kitchen with a cozy dining area
The white kitchen with black countertops is simple and matches the white walls of this light-flooded kitchen. Opposite the corner kitchen layout, there is a spot for a round dining table with white chairs and a chrome pendant lamp.
The elegant combination of chrome, natural linen, and a few delicate accessories spruces up the space and gives it a stylish look.
The corner kitchen layout features upper cabinets to offer enough storage space and the wall area above the upper cabinets is leveled to provide this simple kitchen with a more integrated effect.
An entryway with a home office spot
The entryway is big enough to fit a place to store jackets and shoes and a large table and desk chair to create a place to work from home.
The dark wood tone on the desk pairs nicely with the natural leather swivel chair and the carefully selected accessories provide even the entryway with a stylish look.
