Sarah Widman for By On

post

This lovely living room setup is styled by Sarah Widman for Swedish brand By On. I like the dark grey chalk walls against the beautiful ceiling details and the beige and ochre accents for a warm autumn look (these images are for the autumn catalog already). I like the small Japanese maple tree on the coffee table, combined with the small ceramics as well.

Home with blue-grey accents

post

The blue-grey walls in this space give the home a slight cool look, however combined with light wooden floors, lots of natural accents and different materials it also has a warm and inviting vibe at the same time.

I love the darker wall of the living room peeking through the door to the living room. The black accents throughout the house add contrast and character as well and I like the interesting shape of the coffee table.

Lovely bedroom mood

post

Just a one picture inspiration of a bedroom side table. I just absolutely love the mood in this picture and the way the beige tints and the wood of the cabinet contrast with the crisp linen sheets and the black contrasting lamp.

Muuto at Nomad

post

Danish design brand Muuto had a pop-up exhibition at the Nomad workspace in Copenhagen last week during 3 days of design. The Muuto collection was presented in a colorful context by interior designers Spatial Code (who initially designed the Nomad Workspace as well) along side art installations by Wang & Söderström, Tekla Evelina Severin and Katja Boom.

I like this mixture of the soft lines of the Muuto products with the colorful art pieces and muted color walls.

A sophisticated Stockholm home

post

This beautiful high end apartment is for sale in Stockholm and I think it looks so stylish and sophisticated. The light grey walls match perfectly with the fishbone hardwood flooring and I think the curvy sofa fits so well in that space in front of the window.

The kitchen has the most subtile beige stone worktop and the combination of open and closed cabinets looks great as well.

Ferm Living Home

post

Danish Ferm Living opened the doors to The Home for everyone during 3 days of Design last week and used the opportunity to show The Home as a mirror of who they are as a brand. According to them a home is a feeling and a space to feel comfortable. It’s a collage of everything you’ve experienced and everywhere you went which is something I completely agree with.

I like the personal touches and character they gave to the space this time with lots of artwork on the walls, and lots of a little items spread all over the space which makes you wonder what’s the story behind them.

Loft with an exposed brick wall

post

I think this loft with exposed brick has so much style and looks very cool. The high ceiling allows for the bedroom to be beneath the ceiling above the kitchen. In the living room area where the natural light comes in the space is open, which gives this home a very spacious feeling.

I like the mostly black and white contrasting decor which matches perfectly with the color of  the brick walls. The bedroom has been finished with a dark carpet and a grey blue color on the wall for a bit more of a sophisticated look.

Beige and terracotta living room

post

This beautiful living room setup in natural tints is styled by Fanny Lovisa Skoglund for Norrgavel. The tone on tone beige living room is the perfect canvas for the green plants and terracotta accessories that are really popping out of these pictures.

This look is very serene and calming, a perfect vibe for a living room where you can relax and come to rest.

Beautiful kitchen with lots of natural light

post

I like the fresh vibe of this grey and marble kitchen. It could be because of the sun beaming in, or because of the beautiful bouquet on the countertop. The white tile wall with black grout goes almost up to the ceiling, which is a nice effect that is accentuated with design elements like the black wall lamps and the brass faucet.

I like that the kitchen island is slightly higher as well. it serves as a high table, which looks great with the black bar stools.
