This turn-of-the-century apartment has all the moldings and details from 100 years ago and it also has a slight industrial feeling because of the many high windows. The large dining and living area gets so much sunlight which is reflected on the predominantly white walls. The bedroom has been painted in a green-grey, which makes this room very cozy.
The art prints and accessories give this home character and the wooden furniture and linen bedding makes everything a little bit lighter.
Swedish interior blogged Johanna Bradford just finalised her new kitchen together with Nordiska Kök and shared the results on her blog. The low kitchen module was made in black oak, combined with a concrete counter top, while as the higher cabinets are beige painted. I like this combination of different materials and the light wooden dining table fits perfectly in the middle of the modules.
I like the way this small studio space is decorated. The home is styled with many small accessories and textiles, which makes this new building a very cozy and inviting space. Even though this space has so many things, it doesn’t feel too busy (even though we can’t exactly call it minimal either).
I especially like the hanging plant and the wooden clothing rail in the bedroom, they are nice elements and make this room special.
I think any wall or niche, big or small, can be an opportunity to fit in a small desk or workspace. This small bedroom desk is a great example of how little space s necessary to create a surface to get some work done. All you need is a work lamp and a comfy chair.
Personally I like to switch locations throughout the house while working, so small areas like these are perfect for this.
The Dogu pendant light is designed by Danish ceramics designer Michael Geertsen for Fritz Hansen. The artists’ work is inspired by the correlation between sculpture and functionality and the lamp is quite similar to Geertsen’s art with its organic silhouette and smooth surface.
The Dogu pendant is part of the 2018 expansion of the Fritz Hansen product line with several new and old designs, which all have contribute to Fritz Hansen’s philosophy of timeless design.
This is Alexander Söderqvist’s light and elegant living room, which was just featured on the Residence Magazine blog. I like the light color palette, the modest decoration and the built in bookshelf against the wall. The pink armchair by Mass Productions really makes this look complete and adds the most subtile pop of color.
If you would like to know more about the home and the story about the owner, you should head over the to Residence Magazine blog article.

I like this fresh and bright kitchen with the small dining table next to the window. The marble countertops and grey fronts with chrome details make this look very clean. The grey is continued on the walls and on the table, which goes very nicely with the wood fishbone flooring.
I think this layout with cupboards on two sides that end before the window is a great solution to fit a dining table in a rather small space.
I love the cozy and warm vibe in this turn-of-the-century Swedish apartment. The rooms are painted in different shades of grey and the decoration and furniture were chosen in a very warm and natural palette. This combination of warm greys and natural materials looks fantastic and creates a very inviting atmosphere.
The dining room looks spacious, and the gallery wall gives this home a lot of character. The cool mint green stove is the only colorful element in this home and matches the look perfectly.
I’m a big fan of home fragrances. A scent can add so much to an interior and I love that every room has its mood and fitting aroma that goes with it. A fresh scent can brighten up the bathroom, a softer scent is perfect to relax and wind down in the bedroom and every season has its fitting aroma as well.
I love experimenting with aromas and scents in the different rooms in our home, so I got very excited to get the chance to try out the Aromax home diffuser. The diffuser has a minimal look, is very silent and has an adjustable scent output and a timer (which is so useful, as I don’t know how many times I left the house without blowing out a scented candle). The Aromax is very simple to operate, you simply add a little bit of fragrance oil into the glass Nebulizer and set the diffuser to the desired time and scent output.
I have tried the Zuri, Illuminate and Vetiver Rain scents. I have used the Vetiver Rain in our living room, which has earthy notes and warm woods and the fresh Illuminate with citrus hints in our bathroom. Just 15 minutes of diffusing is enough to make the whole room fragrant for many hours. I love that you can actually see the aroma coming out of the Aromax as well.
This post was made in collaboration with Air Aroma. To read more about the Aromax and to have a look at all available scents, have a look at the Air Aroma website.
Is there anything not to love about this small studio? The layout of this place is just perfect if you ask me. The glass wall separates the bedroom and living room area from each other for privacy but still lets all the light through. Closing this room off with a wall would make the place look a lot smaller.
The kitchen cabinets are continued into a wardrobe on the bedroom wall as well, which is a nice touch and I love the round table next to the balcony window. It’s the only window in the studio, but you can certainly soak up all the sunlight with your morning coffee.
