I love how easy it is to give a room a new look by just updating a few textiles. I gave our living room a small update with pillows and a throw from Himla (gifted) and I love the tints of beige here, perfect for spring.

This beautiful light flooded apartment has a fresh yet soft vibe going on. I like the light grey walls in which the entire place was painted and the predominantly grey, white and neutral interior choices that match this look perfectly.

Vintage pieces like the dresser in the living room and the stool (which is vintage-looking I guess) as a bedside table give character to this place and the white String shelving in both living room and bedroom give ample storage opportunity.

Cozy home with a blue kitchen

post

This large turn-of-the-century apartment looks cozy and inviting and has a modest style, except for the rather bold choice of the navy blue kitchen, which stands out here. I think the kitchen looks fresh and spacious and I love the blue against the white subway tiles and the herringbone flooring.

In the living area, the curtains that go from floor to ceiling and wall to wall give a sophisticated hotel room feeling to the rooms and I like the old door that has been made into a shelf. From the bedroom, there is access to a small workspace as well.

Emma Fisher for Fritz Hansen

Talented Swedish stylist Emma Fisher did a collaboration with Fritz Hansen, where she styled the limited edition Series 7 series designed by Lala Berlin. I think the combination of the burgundy chairs works perfectly with the dark blue wall, white washed floors and detailed architectural elements. The chair itself looks very sophisticated with the velvet seat and I think she presented it in a perfect setting.
