I treated myself to a bouquet of Ranunculus the other day and it’s amazing what difference it makes in our living room. Just this tiny pop of green, powder pink and white flowers gives a spring feeling to our home, while temperatures outside are still so cold.
Other than the range of grey wall colors (from light grey in the living room to darker grey in the bedroom to almost black in the kitchen) that look absolutely great in this home, I’m very much drawn to the excellent choice of details in this place. This home has such a cozy vibe to it and especially the bedroom looks stylish with the plants and brass headboard.
This black office space looks very nice against the beige wall. The beige and natural details come back on the desk as well and the picture rail, which is painted in the same color as the wall is perfect for storing small desk items.
I like the color palette in this home very much. The slight blue shade of grey in the living room looks very elegant and is combined with soft textures, velvet, brass, chrome and powder pink pillows to make the look complete. I like the dining area as well, with the bench next to the window with lots of pillows, such a cozy area.
Ferm Living just recently finalised a collaboration with chef Henrik Jyrk, designing his new Asian fusion restaurant IBU in bright and earthy palettes.
The restaurant is based in a small and intimate place in Vesterbrø, Copenhagen, where distinctive corners and special areas meet the needs of the different parties and moods. There’s the intimate little table for the date; a large round table for the big dinner party; and a seat at the bar, where you get to experience the magic in the kitchen in a shared experience with the other guests.
Swedish TypeO and Temporärt collaborated on this amazing concept space where you can find a combination of coffee, interior design and art, open during Stockholm Design week. I think this is such an inspiring place where so many different textures and materials are combined in a calming and neutral setting with some unique vintage touches. Wish I could pay a visit to this place.

This new model kitchen from Nordiska Kök really grabbed my attention. The classy and clean look of the cabinets in dark blue combines very nicely with the white walls and the white marble countertops. This combination gives the classy Shaker kitchen a minimal and elegant look.
I like the cozy vibe in this home with the mixture of vintage and modern items and lots of accessories in warm colors. Especially the dining area with the linen table cloth and the wooden chairs looks so inviting to me. The color of the bedsheets is very nice as well and this makes me want to add this color to my collection.
These are some stills I shared from our living room on Instagram this week and I keep thinking I want to change this room up a little bit. I have so many ideas and need to draw them all out so I can decide what comes first.
Painting the walls is high on my priorities list and when I asked this question on Instagram you almost unanimously mentioned a light beige/grey mixture, which I can totally see as well. I think a wall lamp on top of the sofa would look great and I’m looking to replace my carpet for something more velvet looking. Any tips would be highly appreciated.
So many things on my list, but I love to take it slow and to see step by step what I like in the setting and what I don’t. The prints you can see here are the Mountain ABC and Circular Watercolor in case you were wondering.
I like the contrast of the white walls and light flooring in this home against the dark grey windows, doors and kitchen with grey cabinets and black cabinet hardware. This dramatic look is softened out perfectly by the wooden dining table with leather dining chairs and soft fabrics in the bedroom.
