Susanna Vento just moved into a new studio and I’m in love with the look and feel of the pictures she just posted on her new blog. Her studio looks cozy and inviting and embraces the old features of the building perfectly.

Kristina Dam studio has just released their new collection for Spring and Summer staying through their natural color palette and their mission to bring art and interior closer together. Kristina Dam’s style and design language is very recognisable and the new items like the Bowl on three legs (my personal favorite) and the Grid Coat Hanger fit in perfectly with the previous collections.

If I wouldn’t know that this beautiful place was based in Sweden, I would have thought it was a New York loft. The rough industrial elements like the black glass walls, the exposed brick walls and the grey steel beams are softened out by soft textiles and interior details in beige. I like this soft and hard contrast and the layout of this place seems perfectly designed.

Bedroom view

Bedroom view - via Coco Lapine Design blog

I hope you all got a great start into the new month ! It just started snowing here in Munich again, just when I thought Spring wasn’t that far away anymore (this was wishful thinking, I admit). I changed some things around in our bedroom and have the Botanical no. 3 print hanging above our bed now. Cold weather just makes me want to stay home and redecorate.

This beautiful home in grey is decorated with dark furniture and accessories, which looks very nice and dramatic. Especially the bedroom in green-grey looks very nice combined with the different textures like the velvet throw and the Beni Ouran rug in front of the bed. I like the area in between the living room and bedroom as well, even though it doesn’t have any natural light. By placing lighter furniture in this room, a lighter atmosphere is created.

I’m in love with every single corner in this beautiful home. The hardwood flooring combined with the many custom built wooden structures, vintage pieces and carefully picked design items is a match made in heaven. I especially like the dining area, with the vintage cabinets on the one side and the sofa made out of mattresses on the other.
