Natural bathroom look

Natural bathroom look - via Coco Lapine Design blog Natural bathroom look - via Coco Lapine Design blog Natural bathroom look - via Coco Lapine Design blog

This natural bathroom look featured on the Ikea Livet Hemma blog is very inspiring. The marble floors and the white tile wall are the perfect backdrop for the white and wood bathroom shelving and accessories. I didn’t spend so much time styling our bathroom yet, but I feel I should transform it into a quite and peaceful place like this one.

My impressions from Maison & Objet

My impressions from Maison & Objet - via Coco Lapine Design blog

In the beginning of the week I travelled to Paris to spend two days at Maison & Objet and it was such an inspiring trip. I saw so many inspiring new designs (the Now ! Design à Vivre hall and the Home Accessories section were especially inspiring for me) and got home full of new ideas on how to decorate our home.

I saw many interesting setups and designs and noticed that the color palette is shifting to a muted warm color setting, just like in so many inspiring homes I posted on my blog in the last months.

A green oasis home

Every interior has something that stands and in this home it’s definitely the plants. The window in the living room is full of different kinds of house plants and a climber that goes all over the curtain rail. All this green makes this otherwise cozy home look very fresh.

10 inspiring kitchens in grey

post

When we were building our kitchen it was clear to me very early on that it would have some tint of grey. I think grey adds a bit more dimension rather than a white kitchen and there are just so many varieties of cool, warm, dark and light grey to pick from. I’ve listed my 10 favorite grey kitchens here, hope you get inspired by them as much as I did when building my kitchen.

white kitchen cabinets, chrome hardware, marble countertops, marble backsplash, white floating shelf

A minimal apartment with a calm color palette

post
A minimal living room decorated in a calm color palette

The calm color palette in this minimal apartment consists of beige, white and natural materials like wood, textiles, and leather which have a very calming effect on the space. All surfaces in this home get a soft look because of the neutral tints and objects that are slightly colored (like the leather armchair or the mustard throw pillow) really stand out.

The cozy, minimal bedroom has a slightly awkward layout, yet it has been decorated in a perfect way, even creating a small home office spot.

Swedish brand String furniture just released their new collection on IMM cologne and like every season, the images are styled by team Lotta Agaton. They expanded their range of modular shelving systems with mirror cabinets and hangers for the bathroom and a special module for hanging wine glasses for the kitchen. I love how this shelf can suit every style and every purpose in any room.

This stylish home from architect Andreas Martin Löf was styled by Lotta Agaton interiors for the third My Residence Magazine and I love the warm color palette. The dark brown furniture gives this home a sophisticated look, which combines very well with the slightly beige walls. The accessories in this home are very on point as well and all within this beautiful color scheme.

New minimal shapes and a perfect combination of muted colors and different materials in the latest collection of Swedish brand DBKD. I love how the design is beautiful, but draws all the attention to the plants and florals at the same time.

Stylish beige kitchen

This beautiful beige and marble kitchen belongs to Claes Dalén and Johan Pråmell. Their home was photographed for Residence Magazine and their kitchen is my favorite part of their place.  If you look carefully, you will notice that the floor is painted darker in the middle, framing the kitchen island.
