The soft light flowing through the large windows of this apartment gives this space a bright look. By keeping all the walls white the sunlight is reflected even more and the darker pieces in the interior stand out a lot. I like the mobile above the bed, anyone knows where it’s from?

This entire apartment is painted in different shades of grey, which gives the place a soft glow. The grey combines very nicely with the wooden flooring and furniture and I admire the attention to detail in this home. Every single corner is designed in a specific way and looks on point. I especially like the grey kitchen combined with the Fredericia J39 chairs and the big area rug in the living room is a great piece as well.

Talented Norwegian graphic designer Nina Sortland photographed our prints in her beautiful home in Norway and I think they look so great in this dark setting that I just had to share it with you here. Her home is a converted stable so the Hestur and Hestar prints feel right at home there. She styled the Begonia Maculata print very nicely and the Room with a view print looks great above the bed. I recommend following Nina’s inspiring Instagram account as well for more pictures of her beautiful home.
Talented Swedish stylist Emma Fischer just finished this amazing project for Bjurfors and I just love everything about this home. The concrete flooring and exposed brick in the living room make for an excellent backdrop in this cozy setting and the many plants everywhere make this room very fresh. The Gubi beetle dining chairs in nude add a very soft touch to the kitchen which is otherwise more dark and masculine. The bedroom is very cozy as well and the small antique desk fits this setting perfectly.

A little minimal to actually live in (for me at least) but such a nice inspiration of materials and textures in this all beige apartment designed by Evgeniy Bulatnikov Architects. I especially like the geen marble wall between the bathroom and the bedroom and the brass light fixtures that come back in every room.

I like the pastel tints that give this apartment a soft look. The powder pink Beetle dining chairs from Gubi give the dining area a very fresh and soft touch and I like the beige and mustard tints in the bedroom as well. The large fiddle fig tree in the living room is super nice as well and very much on my wish list, however I should probably wait until I manage to keep my small one alive.

This all white kitchen with marble countertops is very well combined with different tints of wood for a soft and cozy look. The white washed flooring provides a soft undertone, while as the table and chairs bring a brighter wood color to the mixture.

I like the bold choices that were made when designing this home. The exposed brick wall gives the living room a lot of character already, which is enhanced by the contrasting black and white kitchen. Between the entrance area, kitchen and living room a small low wall was placed to hang the tv and to separate both areas. The bedroom is painted in a very dark grey which almost appears as black. This wall color has a very dramatic effect and contrasts nicely with the brick wall and white of the rest of the apartment.
