I have known Danish design studio Kristina Dam for a long while and have been following their new releases every season. Kristina’s studio designs stylish, minimal pieces and their mission is to make art and interior merge, while using honest and carefully selected materials. It’s always interesting to see how a designer lives and Kristina’s home matches her brand so perfectly. Her interior style is minimal but cozy, with natural materials. It’s so nice to see her own pieces come back in every single room.

These are some snapshots of the Tine K Home AW 2017 collection, or also called the lake collection. I like the dark mood of the pictures which seem to resemble a Scandinavian countryside home. The velvet, brass, fabric and ceramics of the collection really pop out of these dark interiors.

You can see more of the collection here.

Almost everything in this home is painted green, which contrasts nicely with the grey wooden floors, white dining chairs and white linen sheets. Seems like such a serene place to spend a summer weekend.

To read more about Daniella’s design process, what furniture and paint color she used, have a look at her blog here.

Blue kitchen wall

I love the blue grey color on this kitchen wall. It matches the grey kitchen base and marble counter top very nicely and I love how items like the wooden chopping boards and the green plants pop out. The shelving on the wall is painted in the same color, which makes them blend in, while still offering a lot of storage space.

These pictures are the result of a lovely collaboration between Thonet and Dutch photographer and stylist Wen van Woudenberg, from the blog Beeldsteil. She styled the Bentwood table 1060 designed by Jorre van Ast in a lovely living room setting and I love how the soft wood contrasts with the rest of the space.

This home has a very light look and feels very cozy and inviting at the same time. Both vintage and new furniture are combined with lots of plants and area rugs in the right places. I like the kitchen dark wood against the light grey walls as well and those three kitchen modules seem like a handy setup.

Smart studio living

As I mentioned here on the blog before, I’m a big fan of those black industrial style glass partitions for dividing rooms. They let the light through and add a unique look to the space. By adding a kitchen only on the one side of the other room with upper cabinets as well, a lot of space is saved that could be used as a living room area.

Attic living area in grey

I like this living kitchen underneath the attic. The grey accent walls combined with the white angled ceilings is a great look and gives this space extra dimension. I like the art wall with the integrated tv as well, a great way to display frames and a tv together. The cupboard on the back of the sofa works nice here as well and divides the dining and living area.
