Aucoot teamed up with Cereal Magazine to design this extraordinary home in London. This loft with concrete flooring and mineral wall paint is light flooded and filled with carefully selected design pieces. While I love every single little corner of this well-curated home, the bedroom is definitly my favorite room. I love the dark blue walls combined with the floating wooden bed and the black wall lamps.

I like the slight touches of color in this home decorated with otherwise neutral materials. The blue armchair really catches the eye in the hallway (the daybed there looks great as well) and the mustard throw in the bedroom stands out as well. I like the two dining areas in this home (what a luxury) which each have their own looks.

Bright white home with a vintage touch

I’m not a big vintage buyer myself, although I have a few pieces in our place. When I see this bright home decorated with these mid century pieces I’m so inspired though. The mint green kitchen with the teak dining table looks so inviting and I love the little kids kitchen next to it. In the bright living room the cognac leather sofa really stands out and is combined with a white String shelf which blends into the bright wall.

Beautiful dark bedroom

post

The dark grey walls in this bedroom contrast so nicely with the white flooring and white window frames for a dramatic and characterful effect. The small bed is placed by the window and has been made with a white linen bed skirt*, a grey linen duvet cover*, and a darker grey blanket that matches the dark wall color. Out of this grey palette, the fresh green plants really stand out.

I like how the vintage dresser takes up all the attention and almost looks like it’s lit up against the dark wall. The baby bed is visually separated from the rest of the room with the grey linen canopy and the high shelf up against the wall is great for storing pretty things. The mirror on the opposite wall reflects both the light and makes the room look bigger and I like that the frame has been painted in the same grey as the wall.

Mint green kitchen

post

I like the combination of the mint green cabinets with the white marble countertop in this apartment for sale at Fantastic Frank. The pastel green kitchen combined with wooden utensils and various shades of natural accessories softens this color palette and the chrome espresso machine give this playful look a more sophisticated touch.

The mint color of the kitchen cabinets has an exciting look, without having to go for a more vibrant shade or a more saturated color mint. The kitchen has a cheerful color, without being too loud.

I think the subtle mint green color is what does the trick here: it’s not overpowering, yet adds a modest cool tint to the space, similar to the mint green bedroom in this beautiful Scandinavian apartment.
