Mint green kitchen

post

I like the combination of the mint green cabinets with the white marble countertop in this apartment for sale at Fantastic Frank. The pastel green kitchen combined with wooden utensils and various shades of natural accessories softens this color palette and the chrome espresso machine give this playful look a more sophisticated touch.

The mint color of the kitchen cabinets has an exciting look, without having to go for a more vibrant shade or a more saturated color mint. The kitchen has a cheerful color, without being too loud.

I think the subtle mint green color is what does the trick here: it’s not overpowering, yet adds a modest cool tint to the space, similar to the mint green bedroom in this beautiful Scandinavian apartment.

Home with a soft and graphic look

post

This home with white floors and walls has a very soft but at the same time graphic look. The bedroom is painted in a warm grey, which is visible from the living room through these beautiful wing doors. Light wooden furniture and different tints of grey fabrics continue this soft look in the other rooms as well. Above the little desk on the top floor, you can find our Lonely House print, which I think looks very nice there.

The light grey kitchen cabinets are enhanced with brass hardware and a brass faucet, finished off with a white subway tile backsplash that goes all the way up to the ceiling for an impressive effect.

This 19th century Berlin home is just so inspiring. I love the vintage chairs, table and filing cabinet combined with the typical old hardwood flooring that you find in Berlin apartments. The same black shelving is used in different compositions in the different rooms to hang clothing in the bedroom, keep magazines in the office and pots in the kitchen. I like the dark and moody look the different tints of grey wall paint give to this place as well.

These are some snapshots of the beautiful home of fashion designer Anna Valentine, featured in Elle Decoration. This home has a very neutral color palette, yet looks really interesting. My favorite element of this home is the gallery wall in the bedroom.

This beautiful home for sale at Inner-city specialists is decorated with a lot of dark grey and black elements, which gives it a stylish, yet dramatic look. I like the custom solutions that are incorporated here. The kitchen works very well in a relatively small space and includes wall to wall high shelving to display the nicest kitchen accessories. In the bedroom, a custom headboard was fitted, which includes space for magazines so no separate nightstands are needed, which is a nice solution as well. The build in bookshelf in the small nude pink room is a desk at the same time. I like the contrast between the dark grey bedroom walls and the pink here.

The area that has the most space here is the dining table, which therefor looks like it’s the central space of the home. Even though the walls are kept white in the living room, the dramatic look continues in this room as well because the window sills are painted dark grey.

Lampe Gras floor lamp from Flinders

post

Lampe Gras floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine DesignDCW Éditions floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine DesignDCW Éditions floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine DesignDCW Éditions floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine DesignDCW Éditions floor lamp from Flinders - via Coco Lapine DesignI love reading a good book or magazine before I go to bed and for a while now I was looking for a suitable reading lamp that I can direct towards me and that looks great in our bedroom. The DCW Éditions Lampe Gras N411, available at Flinders checks all of these boxes and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks like in our bedroom. The lamp adds a graphic touch to the grey, beige and natural color setting I decorated this room with and I like the black lines against the white walls.

The N411 lamp, designed by Bernard-Albin Gras can be adjusted in many different angles, so that it is always looking over your shoulder while you are reading, knitting or doing any other creative project. The double elbow joint makes this a very practical lamp, but also adds a graphic line to the interior. By arranging the lamp to a different side, a totally different shape can be created, which makes it very versatile. Rearranging the lamp joints changes the look of the piece as well. I chose the all black version, but the lamp is available in five different finishes.
Almost the entire DCW range is available at Flinders (The classic mantis wall lamp is another one of my favorites), along with many other furniture and design pieces, both modern and classic. They have a showroom in Zaandam, the Netherlands, and online shops in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Their mission is to make extraordinary interior products available for everyone and their beautifully curated product selection is definitly worth a look. The Flinders living inspiration section is inspiring as well and a great way to see the furniture in an stylish living setting.
