I would love to eat at Copenhague next time I’m in Paris. The dark and intense vibe the interior has really attracts me and the deep blue colors work great in this space. The classic Gubi pieces make this interior chique, inviting and sophisticated.
Chrome and silver are materials you see appear in interiors and it gives a fresh look to any setting. Skultana released their famous flower pots in silver as well, next to the trendy gold range and they look great.
This beautiful turn-of-the-century home in Sweden (via Valvet) pairs a subtle light grey wall color in the living room with a black ceiling color that is a true focal point in the space.
The combination of the black ceiling with the grey walls is just striking. A dark grey or black ceiling works in very few places, but in this home with high ceilings and an abundance of natural light, it gives the home something special. You need quite a bit of ceiling height to make this dramatic ceiling color work. If you live in a place with regular-height ceilings, you might want to go for a slightly lighter color.
Paired with classy furniture, the look of the rooms becomes exclusive and unique. It must be so nice to have a dedicated place for wine in the kitchen as well.
A vintage desk in the hallway provides the apartment with a stylish home office spot, and through those double interior doors, you can observe the black ceiling in the living room.
The clean and minimal kitchen with white kitchen cabinets features an impressive wine cooler, which is a focal point at the same time.
A spacious home office features a black desk paired with a black Panton chair and a beautiful leather lounge chair turns the area in front of the window into a cozy reading nook.
The kid’s bedroom has a subtle light grey wall color, which makes the white trim underneath the ceiling stand out in a lovely way.
I like the layout of this cozy and small home. Half of the room is taken by the living room and dining area and the other half is divided into a kitchen with a peninsula and small a bedroom. This small apartment is decorated into a very inviting home and even looks spacious because of the smart room (or area) divisions.
What a beautiful and unique home this is. The green color on the living room wall is a hit and combined with the difficult kind of wood and the leather sofa there is a nice contrast. In the kitchen, I really like the herringbone tiles on the backdrop as well.
There is something about a two-seat workspace that I’m particularly drawn to. Maybe it’s the collaboration aspect or spending even working time together, but somehow this attracts me. This workspace is of course a very stylish one and I like the art wall and the storage space that serves as the desk legs.
I like this newly build home styled by Pella Hedeby. The kitchen really is the centre piece of this apartment and the clean grey contrasts perfectly with the leather chairs at the dining table. How cool is the exhaust by the way ?
Frama and Dry Studios themed up on this beautiful installation, showcasing the Dry Collection and the Frama studio kitchen. I’m very much drawn to the dark materials against the dark blue-grey wall.
What’s not to love about this living kitchen ? It has the perfect grey cabinets, combined with a grey stone on the counter and chrome fittings. The dining table and chairs in light wood make this look a little bit more soft and cozy and I like the ceiling-high porcelain cabinet in between the windows a lot as well.
