I like the dark green living room wall and the subtle decorations in this home. The kitchen and dining area are divided by a bookshelf in a very stylish way. The decorated side of the bookshelf is on the side of the dining room, which makes this a very cozy little nook.

Attic Home with a metal staircase

post

The metal staircase in this beautiful attic home gives this space an industrial loft look. A minimal grey kitchen is placed underneath the metal staircase, making space for a small living area and on the second floor you can find the bedroom and a small workspace. The many details, plants, and art prints give this industrial look a bit of softness and character.

I have been following Minna Jones’ blog for a long time and I love her no-nonsense style and mixture of classic design pieces with every day objects. She recently designed this grey and brass kitchen for a client and I think it turned out so great. I love the combination of the clean lines of the kitchen with the vintage dining table and the brass accessories.

Beautiful spring colors in the new SS2017 collection of Stelton. I’m in love with the brass storage container by the way.

Fresh and white kitchen

I like the look of this small dinning area in this all white kitchen. By adding a lamp right above the table, a string for picture and a little shelf, a separate area in the room is created. The wooden chairs give a little bit of a soft touch to all the white, which I like very much.

This is a very nice example of a newly built home that doesn’t lack in coziness or character. This is not so easy to achieve when you don’t have the character of the architecture, but by adding some paint to the walls and adding lots of textiles this can be achieved. I find the sofa corner with the armchair and the wall lamp especially cozy and inviting and the glass coffee table gives this look a touch of chique as well.

Stylish living room

I think this is such a great example of adding style to a living room without investing too much. All you need is a couch, coffee table, side chairs and a simple dresser. To finish things of, add accessories, art prints and a eye catching plant like this big fig tree. Above the couch you can see our Room with a view print by the way.
