Look at this happy and cozy white kitchen. The concrete surfaces combine very well with the clean white tiles and I like the small breakfast table on the opposing wall as well. You can see that this kitchen belongs to people who love to cook.

Small home with great style

Another great example of a small home that is decorated in a smart way. When choosing furniture for a small space, it’s very important to choose pieces that fit the room and leave enough space around them. You might end up with a smaller couch or table, but it makes a small space look fresh, inviting and stylish.

With temperatures decreasing, I find myself inside a lot more and I find things like baking cakes and cookies so cozy and comforting. For this blogpost I teamed up with Dille & Kamille for a winter baking session. I have been going to their shop in Antwerp ever since I was a kid and I’m sure my Dutch and Belgian readers know their stores as well.

Their collection consists out of natural materials and functional, basic design for everything around the house, kitchen and garden. You will find everything you need for enjoying daily things and all objects have this simple, no-nonsense look that I like so much. Dille & Kamille recently opened up a German online shop, so we can find all their goodies here now as well.

I decided to make cinnamon buns (or knots in this case  actually), which I thought was perfect for these colder temperatures. They made my kitchen smell amazing and we enjoyed them over a cup of coffee after. I used the nice looking chrome and porcelain baking accessories from Dille & Kamille and the oven mit and organic cotton towels are from their textile collection.

I used this recipe for the cinnamon buns and if you’re wondering how to make the knots, I found a good explanation here.

Small home with a great kitchen

post

I think this is such a stylish home and all rooms are decorated to perfection. My favorite part of this space is the kitchen though. I like the combination of the grey cabinets with the beige top in natural stone and the black cabinet hardware. This gives the kitchen a clean, yet warm touch that can be observed from the big open doorway connecting to the dining and living room.

The beautiful gallery wall in the bedroom is placed on top of a ledge, tying the black and white bedroom look together.
