This gorgeous Swedish flat with sand walls (sold via Historiska Hem) has a clean and minimal decor that makes the historic details of the building stand out in an elegant way. The combined dining and living room is connected to the kitchen, which has simple white cabinets and a cute bench in front of the window that can be used as a breakfast nook.
The bedroom is my favorite space in the apartment, as the decor pairs perfectly with the greige walls, and the careful selection of accessories and textiles enhances the look of this space.
As a smart solution to work from home, a small walk-in closet is transformed into an office space with a floating desk paired with a few floating shelves for storage space.
Living and dining room with greige walls
The combined dining and living room has the most subtle greige paint color on the walls, which makes the white floorboards, crown molding underneath the ceiling, and the white doors stand out. The elegant light wood dining table pairs nicely with the off-white dining chairs and the next to the table finishes the look off perfectly.
The beige linen curtains add a warm tone to the setting and warm up the beautiful daylight coming through the big historic windows.
The subtle brown and warm grey tones in the sofa, marble coffee table, and textiles also come back in the colors of the art print. These brown elements add a lovely contrast to the otherwise minimal space.
Simple white kitchen with a bench by the window
The modest kitchen with white cabinets is continued all the way up to the ceiling, allowing for lots of storage space in the kitchen. The closed cabinets are mixed up by a tall open cupboard where a selection of pretty ceramics is displayed.

Danish design brand Vipp has opened the doors of a new countryside guesthouse in Ostuni, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. The design of the guesthouse was realized in collaboration with the Dutch design studio Studiotoff who are specialized in adaptive reuse and renovation projects.
The whitewashed building so typical of Puglia’s scenic landscape holds a one-story family guesthouse that goes in line with the architectural style of the area. The edges of the 1.5 ha plot are lined with a low dry-stone wall which is a local tradition to define your piece of land. The villa itself stands in sharp contrast against the rugged natural scenery.
A modern living space with a light grey kitchen
The living kitchen is characterized by the modern light grey kitchen with stainless steel countertops that contribute to a modern design aesthetic. The curated furniture selection harmonizes perfectly with a selection of rural countryside objects.
The concrete flooring and white walls set the stage for the grey Vipp kitchen and the grey sectional sofa, which seem to both blend in and stand out in this setting at the same time.
A trio of black metal wall lights stand out against the white wall and provide the perfect countertop lighting while cooking.
The Vipp sculpture table lamp is perfect for atmospheric lighting at night and it matches the design language of the iconic Vipp bin right next to it.
A separate larger cupboard holds the oven and fridge on top of which you can find a beautiful selection of Italian pottery that contrasts with the clean and modern lines of the kitchen.
Cozy yet minimal bedrooms with a mixture of modern and rustic elements

This beautiful Swedish apartment (sold by Alvhem) has an open layout plan that connects the living room to the kitchen via the dining room. The view from one side of the apartment all the way to the other side is impressive, to say the least, and you can see that the opening towards the kitchen was made at a later point during renovations.
The dining room and living room are decorated with a mixture of beiges, different wood tones, and a variety of green plants that stand out against the white walls.
Both the master and guest bedroom have a wardrobe fitted above the doorway to optimally use the floor space for storage.
An off-white kitchen with white marble countertops
The off-white kitchen cabinets in this open-plan space are enhanced with a white marble countertop and brass hardware for an elegant look. The area above the stove is finished off with a stainless steel hood and a oak wood peg rail that goes wall to wall.
By opening up the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, the layout of the kitchen can be bigger and the owners planned a large kitchen island with a sink that connects the kitchen with the adjacent living space.
The island includes storage cabinets on both sides. The storage cabinets right next to the dining table are great for storing dinnerware right next to the dining table.
An oval dining table paired with a mixture of wood tones
