This Australian holiday home is composed of a main house and a smaller ‘pod’. This interior, featured in the latest Elle decoration is an innovative solution to awkward building restrictions.

Dit Australisch huis bestaat uit een centrale woning en een kleinere ‘schil’. Het interieur, gepubliceerd in Elle decoration is een innovatieve oplossing voor de onhandige beperkingen die het gebouw met zich meebracht.

Another lovely monochrome apartment from Göteborg. I like the touch of green the plants bring to the living room. The chess piece on the coffee table gives a playful yet classical vibe to the interior.

Weer een prachtig monochroom appartement uit Göteborg. Ik vind het mooi hoe de plantjes een beetje groen in huis brengen en het geheel wat minder strak maken. Het schaakspel op de koffietafel maakt alles dan weer wat speelser, en geeft de living tegelijkertijd ook een klassieke look.

I love this oriental styled home in the meatpacking district in Copenhagen.  There something about the combination of solid colors with the mesh and wood chairs that is special. Like the deep blue pillows combined with the light wood seats, or the mesh chairs combined with the simple white table.

Ik vind deze woning in het meatpacking district in Kopenhagen in orientaalse stijl heel erg mooi. De combinatie van diepe kleuren en houten latten en riet heeft echt iets. Kijk bijvoorbeeld naar het diepe blauw van de kussens en de fijne houten balkjes waaruit de zetels gemaakt zijn, of het fijne riet van de stoelen, gecombineerd met de simpele witte tafel.

These graphic rugs by Paco add a lot of character to the room. Pictures were found on Anatomy Design Studio, from which the furniture in the first picture is designed as well.

Deze grafische tapijten van Paco geven heel wat karakter aan een woonkamer. De foto’s heb ik gevonden op de website van Anatomy Design Studio , de studio die ook de meubelen in de eerste foto ontwierp.

I would love to go shopping in the Tutze store in Harderwijk in the Netherlands. The store is painted white from top to bottom, which draws all the attention to the beautiful products. The style is a mix of modern and rustic,  a combination which works really well.

Ik zou echt graag eens een keer gaan winkelen in de Tutze winkel in Harderwijk (Nederland). De winkel is van top tot teen wit geschilderd, wat de mooie producten eruit laat springen. De stijl is een mix van modern en landelijk, een leuke combinatie.

I like the combination of modern and chic in this interior. The owner of this apartment collected a lot of the items on the flea market in Paris and decorated her home in a delicate way, with a female touch. I like the marble dining room table with the Royal Copenhagen China on top, the herringbone floors and the workspace placed in front of the large windows with the wood Muuto lamp.

Ik vind de combinatie van modern en chique in dit apartement leuk. De eigenares verzamelde veel van de objecten in het interieur op de rommelmarkt in Parijs. Ze decoreerde haar woning op een delicate manier, met een vrouwelijk tintje. Ik vind de marmeren eettafel met het Royal Copenhagen servies erg mooi. De herringbone vloer en de Muuto lamp op de werktafel geven de woning ook wat extra karakter.

Ik vind het behangpapier in deze gang leuk. Samen met de deur die beschilderd is met bordverf, geeft het een speels effect. Het maakt binnen komen in dit appartement leuk.
