Constance and Laurent live in this beautiful home. They both like beautiful things, however both in different styles. They mixed their styles and composed a stylish and functional apartment in Paris. It sometimes can be a challenge to decorate your home as a couple I think. But this couple shows that it can actually be even nicer if you are able to combine both your styles in one home. After all, I think it’s important that both can express their selves in decorating a home.

Deze mooie woning is bewoond door Constance en Laurent. Ze houden alle twee van mooie dingen, al hebben ze beiden een verschillende stijl. De woning van het koppel is een combinatie van beide stijlen, wat resulteert in een stijlvol en functioneel appartement. Soms kan het moeilijk zijn om je huis in te richten en beide stijlen te combineren, zeker als de stijlen zo veel verschillen. Dit koppel toont dat het kan, en dat het resultaat indrukwekkend kan zijn. Ik vind het eigenlijk zelf ook heel belangrijk dat beide stijlen gemixt worden. Iedereen moet de kans krijgen om zich uit te drukken in zijn eigen huis.

If we were to buy a house, I would love it to have high ceilings and concrete floors like the home featured on Emma’s design blogg. The floors make all the wooden furniture look so soft and delicate. I also really like the black ceiling in this home. Normally it would seem like the ceiling is falling down on you, but with the hight of this building, it doesn’t seem like that at all, plus it makes the room more characteristic.

Als wij een huis zouden kopen, zou ik er graag eentje vinden met hoge plafonds en betonnen vloeren zoals deze woning die ik zag bij Emma’s design blogg.. De betonnen vloeren doen alle houten meubelen er zo zacht en delicaat uitzien. Ik vind het zwarte plafond ook echt mooi en speciaal. Normaal gezien zou zwart het gevoel geven dat het plafond omlaag komt, maar doordat deze woning zo’ n hoge muren heeft kan het. Het geeft de ruimten iets karakteristiek.
